Whether you're looking to sell car parts or you simply want to explain pattern making for quilts, stock photos can help you relay your ideas. Around early 2013, I decided to shift soft-graphix from a site dealing with logo and layout design to a website offering free stock photos for anything from blogs and websites to brochures and menus. From a graphic design perspective, it can be difficult to find that exact image that you have in your head; beyond that, it can be costly.

There are many free stock photo sites out there and a whole community of photographers and artist willing to share their work with you. Soft-Graphix was originally started in 2004 and dealt with logo and layout design projects such as brochures, web sites, flyers and more. Although I still work with clients, my main idea has shifted to better fit my schedule and I now offer stock photos through this site.

I have always enjoyed taking pictures and decided it may be something worth trying out. The current concept and status of this site is to offer others photos, images and illustrations that they may find useful for no cost. I understand how difficult it is to be on the design side of things and have a tight budget from a client. Hopefully some may find this site useful.
